About Jordan Bower
My purpose is creativity.
When I was in my late twenties, I had the remarkable experience of walking the length of the American West Coast, from Canada to Mexico. All alone, weighed down by a backpack full of camping gear and my adolescent regrets, I trudged through sun and rain, down beaches and along highway shoulders, into the redwoods and over the Golden Gate Bridge, walking 316 days and 2,000 miles before I finally touched the metal fence at the border.
What I learned on this journey transformed me.
Since then, I have dedicated my life to exploring the unlikely intersection of business, soul and creativity. Driven by curiosity, courage and, often, stubbornness, I have developed a unique and multifaceted career that bridges an extraordinarily diverse set of influences. I am a facilitator and a coach; a speaker and an advisor; a creative and a thought leader; a subject matter expert and a provocateur.
For many years, I have delighted myself by describing what I do as “transformational storytelling”.
My clients have included nearly 200 corporations ranging across industries including health care, financial services, consumer package goods, and technology. I have worked with non-profits, government agencies, and sitting Congressmen. I have given dozens of keynote speeches and coached many executives. I have also won two silver medals at the World Championships of Ultimate Frisbee.
My professional practice continues to grow and evolve. With great humility, I describe myself as an expert in transformation. With hubris like that, you know I’m just asking for it.
Today, I live in Vancouver, BC, with my wife, Maux Elworthy, and our adorable labradoodle, Juno.
