Transformative Narrative Change Consulting for Teams and Companies

Partner with Jordan Bower

I partner with transformative leaders, like CEOs, senior executives, founders and business owners, to help you facilitate a “narrative change” inside your business.

Let’s partner to change your narrative

We all reach pivotal moments in business when our existing narratives need to change. Whether we are responding to positive shifts in our landscape, such as emerging opportunities, or navigating challenges that require a thoughtful approach, it is crucial that we adapt the stories that we tell about ourselves, our work, and the world we operate in.

By doing so, we can shift how people hear us, what they understand, and ultimately, how they act. When we change the story and how we tell it, we literally change the world.

On the surface, a narrative change may seem like a strategic communications initiative. But, beneath the surface, narrative change require a re-evaluation of how we think as a team— and what we value. As your partner, I will guide you as you explore the complex inner world of your business. Together, we will consider both the strategic challenges that you face, as well as the often obscured human dynamics or emotional challenges—revealing new insights into how the two fit together, and, ultimately, enabling you to discover outside-the-box ways for you to move forward

This holistic approach crosses many of the traditional silos of business: strategic planning, change management, leadership development, culture design, and creative transformation. It is a truly cutting edge process of organizational change and renewal.

What Partnership Can Look Like

I don’t offer a standard, off-the-shelf transformational service, because I know from experience that every change ecosystem is different. My approach begins with deep listening—to you, first, but also to your employees, your stakeholders, and even your customers.

We stop, and we assess what we’re hearing—together. From there, I draw from my deep experience to guide you deeper into the problem, so we can discover a precise and individuated strategy that fits.

I play a variety of roles in my transformational engagements:

  • as an advisor, I can help you pinpoint the root of the problem

  • as a facilitator, I help your broader team get on the same page about narrative change, working with everyone to point you in the right direction

  • as a creative coach, I help you re-imagine your own thinking—so you can see solutions that were previously beyond your field of vision

  • as a trainer, I support the wider team as they implement the new systems, helping them move through change both functionally and emotionally

  • as a business ritualist, I create meaningful and transformational experiences that will help your team close one chapter before opening another

  • as a storyteller-in-chief, I guide you to develop clear, authentic narratives that help you explain what’s happening, why, and how it can benefit others.

The outcome is a change in mindset

It may seem natural, at first glance, to assume that the outcome of a narrative change journey is some kind of document that tells your story for you.

However, one major reason why I don’t deliver this product is that it’s essential that the story changes inside of you. Otherwise, if you use my or anyone else’s language to communicate with your stakeholders, it will feel inauthentic. A truly meaningful and transformative narrative needs to come from you.

Accordingly, I see my primary job is helping you change as a leader—and then guiding you to draw out this change so that it reverberates through your organizational systems, with the result that your business begins to function differently too. The new narrative has gone from an idea in your head to a tangible, lived reality.

This sophisticated process tends to make sense only once you experience it. So, eventually, I plan to fill this page with the testimonials of satisfied clients.

Right now, though, this is a new initiative for me as I expand beyond storytelling workshops—so I am looking for curious leaders who are bold enough to take a creative risk.
