Get your story straight!

Single Coaching Sessions • Extended Coaching Programs

We all have a story. What most of us don’t have is a clear and effective way of delivering our story as a tool to connect with someone else. That’s what you’ll get through one-on-one story coaching: clarity and strategic direction for using your story to level up the way you communicate and connect in your business.

We’ll start with a story you’re working on right now: like a marketing campaign, a sales pitch or the elevator speech you use while networking. Digging into that story, we’ll find the most engaging and interesting bits. Then, we’ll create a clear step-by-step action plan for how you can tell that story better and achieve the goals that you’ve set.

Even though every coaching session is different, sessions tend to follow a similar pattern:

  • Begin with an assessment of where you’re at. What are your goals right now?
  • Analysis of a current problem you’re facing. What’s working? What’s not?
  • Helping you clarify and articulate the most meaningful parts of your story
  • Strategize: what tools could you be using that you’re not?
  • Develop a clear action plan with next steps
  • Agree on the action plan and develop a follow-up to check in on how you’re doing.

Naturally, as we get to know each other better, the advice and direction I can offer to you will become more targeted. Four sessions is a great amount of time to dig into your story, develop clarity and start testing. In six sections, you’ll also have time to build and practice specific storytelling skills that will improve the delivery and resonance of your story.

I hope not! My goal is to help you get your story straight quickly and effectively. Generally, after 4-6 sessions, we’ll take a pause, then connect again after 6 months to see where you’ve gotten to, and what you need next. The goal is to help you pivot, give you the framework and direction, then let you use the tools we’ve created to create results.

The first goal is to improve the way you tell your story tangibly and measurably. By improving your story, you should expect to be a more effective salesperson and networker. You should also expect to receive clarity on your content marketing strategy, as well as creative inspiration for further content direction. Finally, you should expect to have a trusted partner who will work side-by-side with you, helping you grow your influence and ability to express yourself, in both professional and personal environments.

Stop guessing. Start going!
